Regular Underground Downhill Team

With races happening pretty much every weekend from april through the end of August, its pretty clear that the scene has blown up, and is attracting people from all over the world. With everyone and their dog wanting to start skating downhill, It has become harder and harder to find the riders who really are trying to keep pushing the limits and moving the sport forward.

Three years ago, power slides were a big deal, now, everyone seems to be able to get their board sideways without using they`re pucks. so if youve been skating for ten years or just started, dont think their is nowhere to take the sport. Focus on one aspect of longboarding too much, and you lose sight of all the others. Longboarding happens in mountain passes early in the morning, back alleys late at night, and everywhere in between. The best part about longboarding is finding a way to make any location fun. Stop skating the same spot over and over, and find something new to do and learn.  Go fast, get sideways, and remember its supposed to be fun.

The Switch Longboard team is composed of riders who try to excel at every aspect of the sport, working hard to save enough money for race entries, and burning piles of wheels every month. When their not out of town racing the best in the world, you can find them exploring the island, looking for new places to ply their trade, or skating old favorites in town, teaching the next batch of riders the basics.
